A Happy Boy

Logan had a great time in Florida. Here are two pictures of the smiling young man.

Florida 2009

Logan and his parents spent four glorious days in Boynton Beach during Spring Break. While there quality time was spent with his Bobba and Zaida and we were even able to take in a Spring Training game of the Florida Marlins vs. the Baltimore Orioles (Orioles won). Enjoy the corresponding pictures.

Thank You Judith

Prior to a family trip to Boynton Beach, I was able to make a quick trip west to ski Aspen. Here are three pictures from the trip. Thank you Judith for allowing me this opportunity!

Spring Has Sprung

The weather, a couple of weeks ago was wonderful. Logan and his parents went out for a wonderful walk and spent some time at the Mattie J. Stepanek Park (http://www.mattieonline.com/dedication_photos.htm). Logan (and Judith) enjoyed their time on the swings.

March 2009

Logan and his parents spent a wonderful weekend in Chicago (Christian and Dorothy's fathers home town). We were able to see some old friends, shop the Magnificent Mile and eat some great food at a fraternity brother's restaurant (http://www.urbanspoon.com/r/2/16488/restaurant/Lake-View/Socca-Chicago). As you see in the pictures...Logan (and his father) had a great time! I am looking forward to my Aspen adventure (thanks JDB) and the three of us are looking forward to our upcoming Boynton Beach visit. Until next time, all is wonderful in our nation's capital

NYC and back again

While in NYC we did some of the typical tourist stuff like visit the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. We then returned home to "Rockvegas" to see our smiling boy.

Please notice the picture of Judith at Ellis Island. She is holding her green card while standing in the registration hall. Think of the immigrants who have passed through the room before her.

NYC here we come

Logan's parents visited the Big Apple recently and were thrilled that Janet and Sam Bell joined them. Good food, drink and plenty of sightseeing ensued.

1) Judith and Mark outside the Today Show at 30 Rock just after 7:00a. We had been in line since 5:00a to get stand-by tickets for Saturday Night Live yet didn't get into the show. The experience, however, was great!
2) Janet and Sam outside the Today Show. We waved to Lester Holt...he didn't respond.
3 & 4) Dinner at Sushi Samba was AWESOME!! Unfortunately, we left the poo-poo platter of sushi up to the waiter...$725 later we were trying to figure out what we actually had to eat.
