Family on the Left Coast
As is his tradition (two years running), Logan found time in his schedule to see his great aunt Marion and his cousin Joey on New Years Eve morning.
1) Logan with his mother and great aunt Marion.
2) Logan and his cousin Joey smile for the camera.
3) Logan welcomes guests to his grandparents home on New Years Eve.
Jetting Coast to Coast
Logan and his parents disembarked their comfortable accommodations on the Independence of the Seas and in no time were jetting across the country to spend time in La Quinta, CA.
1) Logan was amazed at the colors and smells of the flowers. Here he is smelling a bougainvillea in G-ma and Gramps' courtyard.
2) Logan's travels caught up with him while dining at Ernie's, the patio grill overlooking the 18th greens of the Nicklaus Resort and Stadium Course at PGA West. His mother makes a great pillow!
3) It didn't take long for Logan to get behind the wheel.
4) Logan wanted to go for a ride with his father and Gramps.
5) Logan convinced his mother to go for a ride in the golf cart.
Good Times, Great Family
Christmas Eve and Day
Logan and his parents have spent the past many Christmases in warmer climates. This year was unique as Christmas Eve was spent someplace between Cozumel Mexico and the Cuban coastline.
1) Some of the 1400 staff members on the ship donned choir robes and sang Christmas Carols from the ship's promenade.
2) Logan and his mother smiled for the ship photographer while in the pool.
3) Logan took a dip in the shallow end.
4) Logan and his mother enjoy the pool with cousin Tess.
At Sea
1) Logan was a bit sleep deprived and his parents were excited that he enjoyed his backpack. Logan's father thought he would "seek out the worm" in a local tequila factory while Logan "caught a few zzzz's."
2) Logan's Zaida is already trying to persuade him that Klezmer music is the next Rock n' Roll.
3) Logan with his Bobba and Zaida on their balcony.
4) Cruisin' the jewelery stores of Cozumel. Logan, Tess, Isaac, Trevor and Bobbi all look happy.
5) Logan and his cousin Meagan enjoy the monkey waiting for them in their stateroom after dinner.
Who Would Have Thought...
Logan and his parents are back in cold and snowy Rock-Vegas, but we almost didn't make it onto our wonderful family cruise. Who would have thought that the DC area would receive almost 20 inches of snow on the day we were supposed to depart for the western Caribbean. Needless to say, Logan's father has the knowledge to open his own travel agency and Logan's mother has the patience of a saint (or at least should be up for beatification).
Picture 1 is of Logan still telling his mother that there should be, "no more monkeys jumping on the bed (while on the tender to our ship just off of Belize City) and picture 2 is the stern of our ship, Royal Caribbean's Independence of the Seas.
Could It Be Our Year??
